Michelle Lane

Michelle completed her TAFE certificate in veterinary nursing in 1991. After spending many years as theatre nurse, Michelle has taken up duties as a receptionist. She has a particular interest in canine behavioural problems and is responsible for the hospital's very successful "Puppy Pre-school" program. Michelle has been a part-time tutor for the TAFE veterinary nursing course whose counsel is often sought by the many students attending the course in Tamworth. When not at work, Michelle is busy looking after her horse, dogs, ferrets and chooks and still finds time for house renovating and a bit of gardening!

Sandy Tyers

A qualified veterinary nurse with many years of experience, Sandy starts work at 7.30 each morning and by the time the vets arrive she can give a detailed update on the progress of each patient in the hospital. Sandy has the uncanny knack of being able to calm the worried patient and will pick up subtle changes in a patient's progress in advance of the rest of us.

Rebecca Miller

Rebecca started working at STAH full time in 1993 & completed the TAFE certificate in Veterinary Nursing in 1994. She has an amazing ability to find good homes for unwanted cats and dogs. Bec has six cats of her own, three rabbits, two ducks and three pigeons (at the last count!). She is a keen photographer and traveller and has a particular fascination with Canada and all things Canadian (Celine Dion, male Canadian veterinary students etc…). Rebecca's obsession with the movies is largely responsible for the financial liquidity of Tamworth's Regent Cinema.

Angela Jones

Angela completed her Advanced Certificate in Veterinary Nursing in 2000 and now works as a receptionist at STAH. Angela is the sometimes reluctant owner of an exuberant Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Gus who's current project is to pass his entire kennel through his gastrointestinal tract!

Cindy is our part-time receptionist who regularly makes order out of potentially chaotic Saturday mornings.

Stephanie Haas

Stephanie has primary responsibility for our operating theatre suite. She recently gained distinctions in her last year of the TAFE certificate IV in veterinary nursing and has now set her sights on obtaining further qualifications in dog training. Seph is pictured with her friend Rufus.
