Rachel Hayhurst Rachel is a full time mum and part time, but fully qualified, veterinary nurse. Rachel teaches in the TAFE veterinary nursing course and helps with the nursing care of our hospitalised patients as time permits. She has two pugs a border collie and a cat. Rachel frequently helps out with sick strays that need a bit of extra care but draws the line at taking home Cockatoos that swear! |

Tina Gibson Tina is an experienced veterinary nurse but these days she finds her time divided between caring for her four children and helping us to care for our hospitalised patients |

Kirsty Thornton Originally from the Riverina, Kirsty studied hotel management and pursued a career that took her from Kalgoolie to the Whitsundays and latterly, to Uralla where she managed a hotel for 6 years. Recently, Kirsty has started a veterinary nursing course at Tamworth TAFE and joined STAH as a receptionist/nurse. She owns two huge St Bernard dogs(Junior and Honey) and Basil, a pint sized miniature fox terrier who thinks that he is a St Bernard. |

Fiona Wallace Fiona is one of our hard working part time nurses. Fi expects to complete the TAFE certificate IV in veterinary nursing this year. She shares home with a Siberian Husky, a fox terrier x and a cockatiel called Spike |

Donna O'Malley Donna works with us part time and is responsible for clipping and groomimg of dogs and cats. In her spare time Donna breeds prize winning poultry. |
